We have now launched the "digital library" link which has the first set of on-line educational materials, remote instrumentation access for international collaboration and access to a meta database for world wide resource material for materials science. In the first two years, the web portal served primarily as an information portal with static images and text. This year, we added interactive tools which aid in both the research and pedagogical aspects of the CoSMIC-IMI activities. These include the use of animations, web based communication platforms for audio/video real time connections, and archiving of video/audio records.
