Pizza Sales

What: Material Advantage (with the help of other Mat E students) sells Pizza
When: Wednesdays from 10:30am-12:30pm
Where: Hoover Hall atrium.
Price: $3.00 for two pieces of pizza and a beverage
            $1.50 for a single slice of pizza
            $0.50 for a pop or bottle of water

All profits go to the Material Advantage club to offset the costs of travel to professional conferences (MS&T, TMS), Congressional Visit Days and Industry Tours. It also supports the supplies required for the materials outreach demos, makes it possible for us to supply dinner at our monthly MA meetings and our monthly F.A.C.s at Pizza Pit.

Student Demonstrations

Material Advantage does science and material demonstrations for younger (High School, etc) students. Anyone is welcome to come help at these events. Even if you have never done our demos before, feel free to come and learn about them. It's a lot of fun, and we really get to show people the cool things that we get to do as Materials Engineers. If you have any questions or would like to help with any of the events contact Tim.

Friday After Class (FAC)

FAC is an event in which all-you-can-eat pizza and camaraderie bring materials engineers and invited guests together for an evening of merriment. FAC (officially) happens one Friday a month, so stop by and enjoy cheap ($4/members, $5guests) pizza and good times!

MSE Polos

We have official Materials Engineering polos for sale. The design can be seen below and they are $20 each. All of the new polos are white and come in women's and men's sizes. Old Mat E polos are also for sale and are only $10 each. They come in a variety of sizes for both men and women as well. Finally there are "The Top 10 Reasons to be a Materials Engineer" t-shirts still available which are $7.00. If you are interested, just catch an officer in a meeting or in the student room. The people most in the know are Tim Pearson or Kate Lindley.
