Akinc Selected Fulbright Scholar
Recently, Dr. Mufit Akinc was selected by the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FSB) as a Fulbright scholar to Turkey. As a representative in Turkey, Dr. Akinc will help fulfill the principal purpose of the Fulbright Program which is to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of over 150 countries that participate in the Fulbright Program.
Dr. Akinc will be developing an international understanding and establishing open communication and long-term cooperatiive relationships while in Turkey. He will be one of the many Fulbrighters who enrich the educational, political, economic, social, and cultural lives of countries around the world.
As a Fulbright Scholar, Akinc will teach a graduate course at Koc University and deliver a number of seminars at various universities in Turkey. He will also work with Turkish scientists on collaborative research programs as part of his FPDA.
