Location: 3113 Gilman Hall
The Thermal Analysis Lab in Gilman covers a wide range of thermal analysis techniques (DSC, TGA, TMA, DMA and Rheometry) and is in continuous use by research personnel. Scientists study material properties as a function of temperature (glass transition, melting, decomposition and crystallization temperatures, heat capacity, thermal expansion, softening point, viscosity or viscoelastic behavior).
For equipment questions, lab concerns, safety problems, or general help in this room, contact the lab coordinator.
