Characterization Laboratory - 3314 Hoover

The characterization lab has state of the art technology from around the world that allows group members to throughly investigate the properties of their research samples. The lab equipment is also available for other researchers to use. Please see the homepage for more information.

Preparation Laboratory - 3324 Hoover

The preparations lab house all of the equipment the GOM group uses to manufacture and prepare samples for study.  Centered in the large room is the new glove box that was installed in late 2004, used to prepare samples in a control atmosphere.  Furnaces and computers line the outer wall of the facility, also used to help get samples ready for examination.
