Day-to-day tasks: interfacing with subsystem and software engineers, developing and running test procedures, and troubleshooting failures. (I technically no longer work as a “materials engineer” but have experience in research and development, manufacturing, and testing of both ceramic and composite materials.)
Upon graduating ISU, I never thought I would be anything but a “materials engineer”; however, my current career path has lead me to expand my capabilities as an ‘engineer’.
